01Sources and categories
We process your name, Email and account verification data, and rental records supplied by managers: properties, tenant contacts, leases, invoices, payments and maintenance. Features may involve identity details, addresses, photos and attachments. LINE and Google login provide verified provider identifiers, names and available Email addresses. We do not collect your LINE or Google password.
02Purposes and choices
Data supports account creation and verification, rental management, workspace permissions, verification and rental notifications, maintenance, support and security. Without required account information, registration or verification may be unavailable. Optional information affects the corresponding features. Registration acceptance is not separate consent to marketing or publication of tenant data.
03Providers and AI
LINE and Google handle external authentication. Production verification and notification emails use Resend SMTP, which receives recipient Email addresses and message content for delivery. Resend states that data is processed and stored in the United States; the actual sending region and plan retention still require confirmation against the operating account. LINE notifications use the LINE Messaging API with bound identifiers and notification content. AI assistance and document recognition may send necessary messages, query results or selected documents to OpenAI. Avoid unrelated sensitive details such as identity numbers in conversations. Providers apply their own policies; cross-border processing locations require confirmation.
04Cookies and analytics
Cookies support login, language preferences and security verification. The production homepage uses Google Analytics, which may involve device, browser and cookie information. The homepage offers optional analytics cookies and does not load Google Tag Manager before acceptance. Refusal does not affect use. Your choice is stored in this browser and can be changed using Cookie settings on the homepage. A necessary preference cookie also remembers rejection for one year; browser storage restrictions may limit how long or where your choice is remembered. Withdrawal reloads the page to stop analytics and clears Google Analytics cookies accessible to this site; it does not automatically delete previously transmitted data. After acceptance, the container configuration determines actual measurement. Production payloads have not yet been verified, so this policy does not promise that measured URLs or referrers exclude query parameters or paths. The analytics code is not loaded on registration, login or policy pages. Browser cookie restrictions may affect login features.
05Access, security and retention
Personal or organization workspace permissions and roles limit access. Protected attachments require download authorization. Retention depends on service delivery, transaction history, security and legal obligations; category-specific periods and backup handling require confirmation. Stopping account use does not promise immediate deletion of all rental history. Avoid sharing accounts or documents with unauthorized people.
06Your rights and contact
You may request access, copies, correction, restriction of collection, processing or use, or deletion of personal data under applicable law. Tenants may also contact either address; requests about data supplied by landlords or managers may require coordination with them. Any legally required retention limits will be explained.
07Changes to terms and policies
can-rent may revise the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy to reflect service changes or changes in law, and will publish the updated content and applicable date on this website. Material changes affecting user rights or personal data processing will be separately notified. Where renewed consent is required by law, it will be requested separately.
